Maya Luxe’s principal priority is the health, safety and wellbeing of our guests, team members and partners. We are closely monitoring information regarding coronavirus (Covid-19) and following the guidance of the health and travel authorities here in Mexico, and internationally.
We recognise that this is an unsettling time for all as the situation continues to develop. Our promise is to do as much as we can to help our guests, with more specifics below:
We will continue to operate to ensure that those customers who still wish to travel can do so, where travel restrictions allow and in line with guidance from health authorities.
It’s still our goal to help you enjoy your own, private piece of paradise here in the Riviera Maya. We are putting all health and safety precautions in place with our on-site team, by increasing our villa cleaning and sanitation procedures and our face to face interactions between staff and guests, ensuring that cleanliness is at its peak. However, please be aware that it is ultimately your responsibility to follow all necessary precautions during your travel and stay.
We urge you to monitor our policies on a daily basis before your travel dates, as our policies are subject to change. The situation may shift depending on the guidance of the health and travel authorities.
If you are scheduled to check-in between March 15th and July 1st, we are waiving change fees and offering credit to rebook with Maya Luxe. New booking dates must fall within 12 months of original dates and the same villa must be booked.
If rates for your new booking are higher, you’ll need to cover the difference. However, by waiving the change fee, we want to ensure you have more flexibility to amend your travel plans.
For all new and existing reservations affected by travel restrictions linked to Covid-19, or should anybody from your group become ill in relations to Covid-19, Maya Luxe will offer a date change within 12 months of your originally scheduled travel at no cost.
Please call or email for all new bookings:
We advise all guests who booked with third party partners to check with the respective company’s updates and policies.
Whether you’re at home or traveling, the WHO recommends practicing good hygiene to protect yourself against infection – by washing your hands frequently with soap or alcohol-based sanitizer, maintaining distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing, and avoiding touching your eyes, nose and mouth. If you become sick, please seek medical attention quickly.
Lastly, to everyone out there, look after yourself, stay active (especially if you’re stuck at home), read a book, learn a new skill, help a neighbor in need, call a family member or friend who is home alone and keep the good vibes going.
Stay safe, stay clean and stay positive.
